Château de Lacomte Country Club

A desirable and exclusive location in the Valley of the Dordogne

Château de Lacomte Country Club is nestled within 32 acres of quiet parkland brimming with wildlife,  close to the town of Lot in the ‘Vallée de la Dordogne’. The Château itself has existed for many hundreds of years but since 1992 it has been transformed into a 4 star touring park by Sheila and Stuart Coe, who still run this very popular site.

Five years ago it became the first official 4 star adult only French touring park. The park is equipped with a large outdoor pool, all weather tennis court, bar and restaurant, aside from it’s 96 touring pitches and is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of France, Lot has many, many places of interest and some of the most picturesque scenery, as well as the two rivers, the Dordogne and the Lot. Chateau de Lacomte is actually in the heart of the Regional Natural Park and only 12kms from the breathtaking medieval city of Rocamadour, and only 20 minutes from The Valley of The Dordogne International Airport (Brive La Gaillard) at Cressensac.

Always looking to move with the current trends and also to fulfill the original project criteria set out in 1991, Stuart and Sheila have decided to transform a large area of the park to accommodate the very latest in holiday lodge luxury from UK manufacturer Pathfinder. The brand new development with I] its own private entrance is completely separated from the existing touring area (which eventually will be reduced in size to approx 20 pitches) and will have an ‘Owners Leisure Centre’ with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Saunas, Steam Room and a Gym for the free use of the Lodge owners.

Each Lodge plot is approximately 200-250m2 with vehicle parking for 2 cars. The plots will face SSW and will all be equipped with satellite television and Internet. They will be sold on a 55 year lease and can be used for 11 months of the year. Contract details are available on request. The project is being constructed in phases of six holiday homes with a total of eight phases. The plots can be reserved off plan.
